Programs

Have you ever wanted to be an Astronaut?

To go into space, step out of the vehicle, and float above the earth while reaching for the stars — but wondered if you have what it takes? Waypoint 2 Space provides comprehensive, immersive space training programs using advanced facilities, equipment, and real-time simulations.

These programs prepare participants for the rigors of spaceflight while developing teamwork, problem solving, crew communication, and mission-readiness skills.

01/ Foundation

Begin with astronaut training fundamentals, spaceflight environment knowledge, physiology, crew resource management, and pressure-suit orientation.

02/ Simulation

Build confidence through mission-control operations, flight dynamics, pressure-suit interface work, and vehicle/crew simulations.

03/ Adaptation

Train for G-force exposure, microgravity adaptation, hypoxia recovery, spatial disorientation, and unusual-attitude recovery.

04/ Readiness

Progress toward launch, orbital, IVA/EVA, payload, and emergency operations based on the selected training pathway.

Spaceflight Training Programs

Choose the training level that matches the participant’s flight profile, mission requirements, and readiness goals. Each level is structured to move participants from fundamentals through vehicle-specific and orbital competency.

Level 1 – Spaceflight Fundamentals

One-week immersive training

Designed for anyone interested in spaceflight to experience astronaut-style training and build the foundation for more advanced programs.

  • Spaceflight environment and physiology
  • Crew resource management and pressure suit operations
  • Hypoxia recovery, simulations, G-force and microgravity adaptation

Level 2 – Sub-Orbital Training

Three-day SFP training

Rigorous sub-orbital preparation for a specific flight profile and vehicle, aligned with spaceflight participant readiness and safety requirements.

  • Vehicle flight profile and emergency procedures
  • Spaceflight safety, hypoxia recovery, ingress and egress
  • Accelerated G-force, microgravity, and payload systems
03/

Level 3 – Orbital Training

Eight to twelve-week orbital track

Advanced training for launch, orbital vehicle operations, IVA, and EVA readiness for participants preparing to live and operate in space.

  • Launch vehicle operations and orbital systems
  • Extended-duration microgravity and confined-space operations
  • IVA/EVA workflows, docking operations, and competency review

Space Experiences & Commercial Spaceflight Training

Waypoint 2 Space Commercial Payload Specialists support research organizations, payload operations, and integration with sub-orbital and orbital operators during flight.

  • Payload and experiment operation consultation
  • Pre-flight training and operational feasibility support
  • On-orbit operations support and post-flight debriefing
